It?s time for the first edition of Why I Ride Wednesday!
Let?s start with a quote from Sons of Anarchy:

Nothing else to worry about except what’s right in front of you.?

Danny Scott: I ride to quiet my mind…It strips away the bullshit of the world and reduces your thoughts to what is truly important…Riding is an activity that I can choose to share or enjoy alone. When shared, everyone in the group is a fellow rider; a brother or sister instead of whatever they normally consider themselves…On a ride, a person’s job does not matter, their wealth does not count, and their political bend is irrelevant…When riding alone, your thoughts become focused. The faster you go or the further you ride, the more focused you become. At a certain point your mind can clear and you can achieve a sort of earthly Nirvana. This is the drug that keeps you coming back.
Stephanie Weaver: Riding is dynamic, but it is dangerous. It is something to constantly work at and to surrender to. As a woman, we are expected to be fragile, docile things. I don?t ride to earn the respect of men or to impress my fellow female peers. There is something inherently wild about the freedom of being on a motorcycle. Canadian Redditor: Because no matter how good or bad, routine of exciting your life is, you will always look forward to riding your motorcycle. When you are on your bike, all that matters is you and your bike. Nothing and nobody can pull you out of the moment.
American Redditor:?Riding a motorcycle, for me, is almost unexplainable. Many people might just treat it as some normal thing, but for me it is absolutely magical. I’ve been riding for almost a year now…such a short amount of time, and it has done SO much for me. It has changed almost everything in my life. My personality, the way people see me, my everyday existence is completely changed too. I’ve met some seriously amazing people and I continue to meet more. Every time I get on, I know I’m in for an adventure. Not ever just another boring commute to work or school.
